My "Why" - the reason I do what I do - is simple: I want to prove that change is possible and, in doing so, help people to live happier, healthier lives. For me, the words “that’s just the way things are and there’s nothing you can do about it” have driven almost everything I have ever done. I want people to be passionate about who they are and who they can become, no limitations.

Being at the forefront of change in the industry excites me. When I started as a Health Coach, every gym was the same and every course provider was providing the same kind of education. It was all very formulaic, uninspiring and, in my opinion, boring. It was no surprise to me that people struggled to achieve their goals because the standard of gyms, health facilities and overall coaching was just so poor; machines, treadmills, mirrors and low fat cook books.

I set out several years ago to be a part of changing that by providing movement-based, functional training facilities and assessment-based coaching which focuses on the individual rather than generic “one size fits all” plans. I’m excited that many others in the industry felt the same way and, at last, the industry is changing for the better.
