Kettlebells are one of the most versatile pieces of kit out there, enjoying monumental growth in popularity over recent years, and for good reason!
Whether the goal is improving strength, power, performance or posture, burning fat or gaining strength, when used correctly, kettlebells are highly effective and clients tend to love the unique style of training they offer.
These multi-coloured cannonballs are easily portable and can replace most other weight equipment you would find in a larger gym. They also enable you, as a Coach, to quickly progress or regress your client's programming.
A fundamental understanding of kettlebells is a vital part of any good PT's toolkit, enabling you to get more clients, achieve better results, and widen your appeal to a varied audience.
As a stickler for perfection, I always want the best from everyone, myself included. "It will do" will never do. As a coach and a teacher I want to influence the people I work with to actually care: care about improving their service, care about the clients they are training, and care about becoming a better version of themselves. If every coach I work with ends up improving their service just 1%, over time I can make a positive impact on the fitness industry as a whole.
The fitness industry is gradually changing for the better and I'm excited to be a part of that. Coaches are being taken more seriously as legitimate health professionals instead of just "that teenager with white teeth and abs", but for these changes to continue, coaches need to be aware of two things:
1. What you do with a client in their hour of training is not going to change their life, but everything you teach them about lifestyle habits, nutrition and psychological health will be crucial to their results.
2. A qualified professional needs to charge qualified professional prices that reflect their service, and shows the public they get what they pay for; £20 for the occasional "beasting" is not going to get anyone very far, so we need to change that perception.

Throughly enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who wants to add another string to their bow. I learned lots that I can apply to my own sport and to a range of others.
Very clear and informative teaching points that have helped me understand a range of pointers to use when teaching kettlebells as well as using them myself. All movement patterns are explained in detail including the do's and don'ts. It was really useful to see how the form shouldn't look, so I could compare to how it should look.
Excellent as always, learned some great techniques & mobility. Class delivery spot on. Already thinking of things I can use on clients and myself and hoping to see results soon.
