Course Introduction

If you’re a newly qualified PT trying to get your business off the ground, the high cost of fitness equipment can make it tricky. On top of this, if you’re training clients in their own homes or outdoor spaces, the heavy weight of all that equipment can be a nightmare to lug about.
Enter… resistance bands.

Resistance bands are highly versatile bits of kit that can be used for all types of training including strength work, hypertrophy, endurance, postural improvement, conditioning, core and power exercises. They can be used with individuals or for partner work and even in small group settings. You can anchor them to anything - whether it’s furniture, a park bench, yourself or another person. Having a good understanding of resistance bands will not only help you to keep your clients engaged and motivated, it will also enable you to be completely adaptable as a trainer and, as we know, adaptability is the key to survival!

2. A qualified professional needs to charge qualified professional prices that reflect their service, and shows the public they get what they pay for; £20 for the occasional "beasting" is not going to get anyone very far, so we need to change that perception.
